DBA International Discusses Global Debt Buying Industry

Panelists at U.K. conference discuss opportunities and regulatory environment for debt purchasers

 

Sacramento, Calif. (November 24, 2015) – At Credit Today’s Collections, Debt Sale and Purchase Conference in Manchester, England on November 18, Jan  Stieger   DBA International’s Executive Director  participated on two panels:  Setting Up and Expanding into New Markets; and Consolidation, Diversification and Future of Collections Providers.  In addition Stieger participated on the judging panel for the UK’s Collections and Customer Service Awards.

 

“The theme that resonates across all markets is compliance,” commented Stieger. “Many of the conference participants were interested in learning more about DBA International’s Receivables Management Certification Program.”

 

Growing opportunities within the international debt buying industry continue to advance the discussion around offering consumers even greater protection and transparency for fair collection practices. U.S. debt buyers interested in exploring international markets can participate in the International Panel and corresponding roundtable discussions at the upcoming DBA International annual conference.
