Hughes Federal Credit Union donates to aid hurricane victims

Employees of Hughes Federal Credit Union have donated $3,225 to aid victims of hurricanes Harvey and Irma.

The employee initiative resulted in a donation of $1,225, which was matched $1,000 each by the company and the company’s charitable arm, Hughes Helps.

The donation is being made through the disaster relief system of the National Credit Union Foundation and will go toward aiding credit union employees, members, and volunteers who were affected by the recent devastation.

In 2016, Hughes Federal Credit Union provided more than $80,000 in support to over 100 different local organizations.
