CARBONDALE, Ill. (KFVS) – The City of Carbondale Water Office announced that it will resume late fees, penalties, and disconnects on water and sewer bills.
The Water Office had suspended late fees, penalties, and disconnects during “extreme winter storms and low temperatures” in January.
The Water Office says now that temperatures have stabilized, normal delinquency processes will resume on February 8.
Water officials encourage customers to review their account status and make any necessary payments.
