Credit One Bank surprised participants from Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Nevada with an unforgettable experience at the Vegas Golden Knights vs. Chicago Blackhawks game on Tuesday, Dec. 2, as part of the Bank’s ongoing Number One Fan initiative.
On Nov. 26, the Littles and their Bigs participated in a special event at the Golden Knights’ practice facility, where they had the opportunity to skate around the rink. During the visit, the group was surprised with the news that they would be attending an upcoming Golden Knights home game. They were then invited to the team store, where they selected Knights gear to wear on game day.
On Dec. 2, the group was picked up in style in a private charter bus and transported to T-Mobile Arena. Upon arrival they enjoyed pre-game practice viewing before watching the matchup from the Credit One Bank suite. They also met and took photos with VGK mascot Chance and members of the Vegas Vivas dance team. The Golden Knights secured a 4-3 shootout victory, adding to the excitement of the night.
“We’re proud to support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Nevada and provide these students and their mentors with the opportunity to experience the energy of a live Vegas Golden Knights game,” said Christina Ortiz, Senior Manager of Sponsorships at Credit One Bank. “The Number One Fan initiative reflects Credit One Bank’s commitment to fostering positive change and community engagement in Southern Nevada.”
Launched in 2023, Credit One Bank’s Number One Fan initiative partners with local nonprofit organizations to offer exclusive experiences to kids and families across Southern Nevada.
