Credit Union of Georgia has announced the successful launch of its new financial literacy curriculum with students from Marietta High School, designed to equip students in grades 9-12 with essential real-world money management skills.
The program officially kicked off with a session led by Kathy Winarczyk, Business Development Officer for Cobb County, who spent the evening connecting with students and introducing key financial concepts that will help prepare them for life beyond the classroom. From budgeting basics to making informed financial decisions, the curriculum is built to empower students with the confidence and knowledge needed for long-term success.
The newly launched curriculum is tailored specifically for high school students and focuses on practical, relatable topics that they will encounter as they transition into adulthood. Credit Union of Georgia is also actively expanding the program to include tailored financial literacy curriculum for kindergarten to 5th grade and 6th to 8th grade students.
