Experian has announced that Chair Mike Rogers intends to retire from the company’s board after nine years of service. He will step down as director and chair at the conclusion of Experian’s annual general meeting on 22 July 2026 and will not stand for re-election.
Role and tenure

Mike Rogers joined the Experian board as an independent non-executive director on 1 July 2017.

He was appointed chair of Experian on 24 July 2019 and will have served around seven years in that role by the time he retires.
Timing of retirement

Rogers will retire as director and chair at the conclusion of Experian’s AGM scheduled for 22 July 2026.

This will mark completion of approximately nine years on the Experian board.
Succession process

Experian has begun a formal process to identify and appoint a new chair to succeed Rogers.

The board has said it will update the market once the succession process is complete.
Next role for Rogers

Rogers is set to become chair of Nationwide Building Society, succeeding Kevin Parry, subject to approval at Nationwide’s AGM in July 2026.

He will first join Nationwide’s board as deputy chair and independent non-executive director on 1 April 2026 before taking on the chair role.
