FTC Warns Of Rising Robocall Threat Driven By AI, Foreign Scammers

The FTC has been warning that advances in AI and the globalization of VoIP-based calling are making robocall scams more convincing, harder to trace, and increasingly driven by foreign-based operations targeting U.S. consumers and businesses.
