NCB Management Would Pay $2.6 Million In Data-Breach Settlement

NCB Management Services Inc. has agreed to a $2.625 million settlement to resolve a lawsuit alleging negligence in protecting the personal information of over 1.6 million Bank of America customers in a 2023 data breach. Settlement class members can potentially be reimbursed for out-of-pocket losses, up to $2,500, or receive a cash payment. NCB, a debt collector, is also required to implement improved data security measures.
