Hyundai Capital Finance Indonesia said Tuesday that it has begun offering auto financing services to local Hyundai Motor customers.

The company was established as a joint venture between Hyundai Capital, Bank Shinhan Indonesia and the Indonesian conglomerate Sinar Mas Group.

Operating under the “Hyundai Finance” brand, it will provide financial solutions tailored to Hyundai Motor vehicle buyers. It plans to roll out differentiated products, including deferred payment options and installment plans with grace periods.

Credit marketing officers will be stationed at local Hyundai dealerships to deliver one-on-one consultations and customized financing programs.

Additionally, the company will launch a fully digital service allowing customers to complete the entire process — from vehicle quotation to finance application — without visiting a dealership.

Dealers will also be equipped with a dedicated app enabling them to search vehicles, generate financial quotes, and submit approval requests through smartphones or tablet devices. An in-app digital automated approval system will enhance efficiency and significantly reduce processing time.

Hyundai Capital CEO Chung Hyung-jin said the company would provide safe and convenient financial services to Indonesian customers looking to purchase Hyundai’s vehicles.

He added that the company plans to cooperate with its partners to establish its position as a trustworthy financial institution for Indonesian customers.

Hyundai Capital currently operates 19 subsidiaries in 14 countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany and China. Hyundai Capital Finance Indonesia marks its 13th overseas entity.
