Following the launch of its Small Business Grant Program, InRoads Credit Union awarded $25,000 in grants to local businesses.

The program launched in the fall, prompting more than 45 businesses to apply for funding, according to a release from the credit union. Of those applicants, 11 were chosen to receive awards. To qualify for the award, applicants had to send in videos showcasing their business and how they would use the funding.

“Columbia County is home to an incredible range of small businesses, which made selecting recipients a challenge,” InRoads Credit Union President and CEO Nathan Cox said. “Our aim is for these grants to meaningfully impact the day-to-day operations of integral small businesses.”
