Mountain America Credit Union - Nampa Chamber of Commerce

Mountain America Credit Union has rolled out a new cloud-based lending platform for its business lending operations in partnership with fintech provider mysherpas.

What was deployed

  • Mountain America implemented mysherpas’ secure, cloud-based lending solution to support its commercial, small-business, and SBA lending.

  • The platform is a no-code, workflow-driven system that sits as a unified layer over existing tools and systems to streamline business lending processes.

Timeline and rollout scale

  • The deployment for Mountain America’s business lending group was completed in 42 days, which is described as roughly 12 times faster than a typical 18‑month industry implementation.

  • More than 100 business lending team members were trained and onboarded to the new platform during this rollout.

Operational changes

  • The project removed redundant systems and moved teams off tools like SharePoint and scattered email/file-sharing workflows onto a single cloud workspace.

  • Data flows were simplified to create clearer visibility across lending operations before the credit union’s upcoming core conversion.

Intended benefits

  • Mountain America aims to gain faster, more efficient lending operations while preserving business continuity and existing successful practices.

  • The Summit Success Process (SSP) used by mysherpas is designed to ensure rapid adoption, measurable ROI, and sustainable process optimization over time.

About the organizations

  • Mountain America Credit Union serves over 1 million members, with more than 100 branches and about 21 billion dollars in assets across multiple western U.S. states.

  • Mysherpas is a Salt Lake City–based provider of cloud lending technology focused on credit unions, community banks, and non‑bank financial institutions, using its proprietary SSP and patented workflow architecture.
