MSU Federal Credit Union partners with Lansing schools to teach students about financial literacy

LANSING, Mich. (WILX) – MSU Federal Credit Union is partnering with the Lansing School District to host a financial literacy event Thursday, teaching students about saving for college.

The event is open to Lansing students from kindergarten through 11th grade.

Students who attend will receive $15 deposited into their student savings account from MSU Federal Credit Union.

The program will include free food, raffle prizes and video games alongside the educational components about financial planning.

The event runs from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Don Johnson Field House.
