Pacific Crest will become Sage Credit Union on Jan. 1

Pacific Crest Federal Credit Union is entering a new era and will start operating under the new name Sage Credit Union on Jan. 1, 2026, marking the next chapter in its nearly 90-year history serving rural communities in the West.

In a news release from the credit union, the National Credit Union Administration noted it has approved an expanded charter that allows the credit union to extend membership beyond Klamath, Lake, Modoc and northeastern Siskiyou counties into additional communities in Eastern Oregon and Nevada.
