Volunteering on ACA’s governance team expands your professional network, exposes you to new opportunities, and gives you a meaningful role in advancing the accounts receivable management industry. Submit your application by March 2, 2026, and help shape the future of ACA.

COUNCIL OF DELEGATES

The ACA Council of Delegates (COD) is responsible for:

  • Attending the Annual Meeting and other meetings of the Council of Delegates.
  • Electing directors to serve on the ACA Board of Directors.
  • Receiving, reviewing, and conveying other business of the council, including association reports.
  • Voting on COD appointments to the Leadership Development Committee.

Pursuant to the most recent ACA census, each of the following constituencies is  entitled to elected council representation on the following basis:

  • Affiliate Division: Three elected delegates
  • Attorney Division: One elected delegate
  • Creditor Division: Two elected delegates
  • International Division: One elected delegate per each of the following five regions:
    • Africa/Europe
    • Asia/Middle East
    • Australia/New Zealand
    • Canada
    • Latin America/ Caribbean

BOARD OF DIRECTORS

ACA is also seeking applicants for two open seats on the 2026-2027 Board of Directors, each for three-year terms. The board governs the property, affairs, activities, and concerns of the association in a manner consistent with ACA’s stated shared vision, mission, values, and strategic plan goals.

Serving on the ACA Board of Directors allows you to make a difference and improve the industry at a global level.

Director elections will be held at the Council of Delegates meeting in July at ACA’s Annual Convention & Expo.
