- RiverLink will begin sending unpaid tolls and fees to collections starting May 1, with notices being sent to drivers who have four unpaid monthly bills for the same crossing.
Heads up drivers, RiverLink is going to start sending unpaid tolls and fees to collections in May.
The collections agency, Perdue Brandon, will begin sending notices on May 1, according to the tolling company. The notices will be sent to those who have four unpaid monthly bills for the same crossing.
Drivers who want to see what they owe can visit RiverLink’s website and click on the button, “See if You Owe.” You will need either a bill or your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) and license plate number.
Eligible drivers can enroll in RiverLink Fee Forgiveness before their account moves to collections, according to the tolling company. If this is done, fees are waived and the tolls are lowered to transponder rates if you open a prepaid RiverLink account and get a transponder.
To enroll, go online to pay tolls by clicking the option to “Update to a Personal Transponder Account.” RiverLink said customer service representatives can help at the walk-up centers in downtown Louisville and Jeffersonville or by phone.
The collection notices will be sent gradually, according to the company. Drivers will be notified by text, email and mail from Perdue Brandon.
RiverLink paused sending unpaid bills to because of the transition to a new toll service provider in 2023, according to the company’s website.
