Sidney Federal Credit Union (SFCU) has pledged $500,000 to support The Impact Project’s work helping low-income homeowners with critical home repairs, and has also made an associated direct donation.
What the $500k is for
-
SFCU is establishing a dedicated loan program in partnership with The Impact Project using a $500,000 pledge.
-
The funds are intended to expand access to affordable financing for low-income homeowners needing repairs that improve safety, livability, and basic home maintenance.
Additional donation
-
In addition to the $500,000 pledge for the loan pool, SFCU presented The Impact Project with a $50,000 direct donation to support its ongoing repair projects.

Part of a larger SFCU initiative
-
This support aligns with SFCU’s broader 2026 “1 Million Reasons” community initiative, through which the credit union is committing $1 million to community support efforts across its service area.
