2021 Encore Economic Freedom Study

An online survey was commissioned by Encore Capital Group and fielded by Morning Consult from August 26 – 29, 2021, among 1,000 adults each in the U.S. and U.K., with an oversample of 300 lowincome respondents in each location. Low-income was defined as those with a household income of less than $50,000 USD in the U.S. and less than £20,000 GBP in the U.K. The sample is weighted to the demographics of the general population and lowincome respondents in each location. The margin of error for this study is approximately 3%.
