Truckload of Coats and Unitus Credit Union partner to bring warm clothes to those without access

PORTLAND, Ore (KOIN) – Winter is approaching quickly, and having clothes that keep you dry and warm are more important than ever. But not everyone has the resources or access to protective winter clothing.

That’s why Transition Projects‘ annual Truckload of Coats event is critical this time of year. On Friday, November 14, they’ll be joined by the team at Unitus Community Credit Union at the Sunset Mall Safeway drop off location, collecting warm clothing items in an effort to fill a Truckload of Coats.
