ACA International is constantly working to bring you the best member benefits possible by actively engaging in initiatives that enhance your professional journey.

Here’s what we’ve accomplished lately, plus a teaser at the end about a new website enhancement coming soon:

  1. Pushing for Changes to FCC’s ‘Revoke All’ Order: ACA representatives met with FCC officials to address concerns about the commission’s recent TCPA order affecting business communications. The coalition discussed consumer communication strategies and revocation of consent requirements. This advocacy effort directly protects your ability to maintain compliant consumer communications. 2. On-Demand Education Insights: ACA added new webinars to our education lineup, with free recordings for Training Zone members. New Hot Topic library additions include “Selling in the ARM Space,” “From Rookie to Rockstar: A Roadmap to Healthcare Collection Excellence,” and “Developing Coaching Skills of Leaders.” These resources provide immediate access to industry expertise, allowing you to enhance your team’s skills on your schedule. Learn more.
  3. Leadership Skills Development: ACA held our Leadership Summit in September, which provided cutting-edge leadership strategies, networking opportunities with industry executives, and practical tools for driving organizational success. The summit reinforced ACA’s commitment to developing industry leaders while providing fresh perspectives and proven strategies for business growth. Read about the first day of the event here.
  4. Advocating for Stronger Fraud Mitigation: ACA submitted recommendations to the Federal Trade Commission to strengthen fraud mitigation after members reported surges in alleged identity theft claims not matching actual increases. Many filings lack sufficient facts to prove identity theft, ACA noted. Our advocacy on this issue protects your operations from frivolous claims while supporting legitimate fraud prevention efforts. 5. New Issue of Collector Magazine: The September/October 2025 online edition features highlights from ACA’s Annual Convention, insights from Best Places to Work winners, technology optimization tips, and much more. Each issue delivers deep insights and industry intelligence, keeping you informed about trends, best practices, and regulatory developments affecting your business operations. Read Collector magazine here.
  6. Advocacy Success with Banking Access Protection: President Donald Trump signed an executive order guaranteeing fair access to banking services on Aug. 7, 2025. ACA has consistently advocated on this issue since members were unfairly targeted by Operation Choke Point. This victory protects your ability to maintain essential banking services. Learn more.
  7. New Hire Training Roadmap: ACA’s education director developed a roadmap that can help you equip your teams with essential skills from day one. Our training catalog offers opportunities to transform your new hires into skilled, confident collectors. We will show you how to put all the pieces together! Learn more.
  8. Gearing Up for Our Fall Forum & Visionaries In-Person Events: Join ACA members in Chicago this November for two hands-on conferences. Fall Forum offers practical strategies in compliance, risk management, and technology. Visionaries focuses on personal clarity and leadership through “purpose hacking” and energy management sessions. Both events provide networking opportunities and actionable tools for immediate implementation. Learn more about Fall Forum and Visionaries.
