Y-12 Credit Union families get free financial literacy tool

Y-12 Credit Union and Greenlight Financial Technology Inc. are partnering to offer families complimentary access to Greenlight’s award-winning financial literacy application for families, a news release said.

Greenlight provides a debit card and mobile app designed to help kids and teens learn how to earn, save, give, and spend wisely, under parental supervision. With the app, parents can quickly send money, automate allowance, manage chores, set spending controls, and monitor real-time transactions. Kids benefit from hands-on financial experience and access to Greenlight Level Up, a gamified financial literacy program with curriculum-based challenges and rewards.

Y-12 Credit Union members can activate a free Greenlight subscription by visiting the Y-12 Credit Union-Greenlight page and linking their Y-12 Credit Union account as a funding source.

*Y-12 Federal Credit Union members are eligible for the Greenlight SELECT plan at no cost when they connect their Y-12 Federal Credit Union account as the Greenlight funding source for the entirety of the promotion. Subject to minimum balance requirements and identity verification. Upgrades will result in additional fees. Upon termination of promotion, customers will be responsible for associated monthly fees.
